Blooming with secrets: dive into these novels
Check out all five of my novels and novellas, and binge them all this spring!
If you’re in the Phoenix area, I’m happy to personalize a book for you or for a gift – email me at Laurie@ReadLaurieFagen.com.
I have audio books for “Fade Out” and “Dead Air” and “Bleeder,” all available on Audible and Amazon. In addition, “Bleeder” will be available in other platforms, including Spotify, Libro.fm, Barnes & Noble, Nook and more. “Fade Out” and “Dead Air” will also be available on those additional platforms in 2023. My son, audio production engineer Devon J. Hancock, handled all the editing and mastering duties, as well as adding sound effects and original music (www.DevonJHancock.com) All covers by Tad Smith of The Design Idea.
With “Change it up!” as my phrase for this year, I’m looking at different creative outlets for me, including more short stories, different themes and topics.
I produced and hosted two seasons of a weekly podcast, “Murder in the Air Mystery Theatre,” and they will continue wherever you listen to podcasts or on my YouTube Page at youtube.com/@readlauriefagenmurderintheair.
I finished a full-length manuscript, “Raw Image,” and I’ll be determining how to proceed with that in 2024. I had several short stories and essays accepted and published in anthologies, and am looking forward to another for our ALWAYS group in 2024.
So stay tuned to see where my writing will take me!
If you’re looking for another creative show, check out “AZ Creates,” which I created and produced during the pandemic with my son, Devon Hancock, and friend Cathy Beard. The upcoming events section, “Something to look forward to” is outdated, but the interviews with actors, filmmakers, choreographers, authors and much more are still there.
BIG THANKS to Shea Stanfield for her wonderful article about my writing career! Check it out on her Starlight Scribe website with other creatives at: https://www.starlightscribe.com/post/lauriefagen
My new manuscript, “Raw Image,” is book #1 in what will will most likely be a new series called “Behind the Lens” mysteries. I’m grateful to my Mystery Critique Group and loyal beta readers who gave me great suggestions, and for positive feedback, including “an intriguing story that I didn’t want to put down.” It’s about a tough freelance television journalist and videographer who covers major crimes and traumatic events, and does her best to expose sex traffickers. “TJ Banks” is kind of a badass women and is great to write. Plus, I am sending her to Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Phoenix, and Europe in book #1 which is such fun.
