We all have “bucket lists,” right? Whether it’s places to travel, work goals or fun things to do, what makes a list great is when you can check an item off!

And my new podcast is another one of those goals I had set, and it’s finally come to fruition. Big check!

I have 16 episodes of “Murder in the Air Mystery Theatre” podcast ready to “drop” every week on Wednesdays at 5:30 a.m., a popular time for podcasts apparently. And it’s available wherever podcasts are found – Apple Music, Spotify, Stitcher, etc., etc.

Big thanks to my talented son, Devon Hancock, who handled the editing, mixing, mastering and uploading to Buzzsprout, the platform that holds the podcasts.

It’s always fun when you can share experiences with your children, and this is another fulfilling project we’ve been able to work on together. He’s been doing all the mixing and mastering on my three audiobooks, and we also worked on “AZ Creates” during the pandemic, a YouTube video show to highlight creatives in Arizona.

On this first season of “Murder in the Air,” I’ve interviewed mystery, thriller and suspense authors and they — or a professional voice or I — read a segment from their published short stories or books, ala Alfred Hitchcock’s Murder Mystery Magazine podcast. I’m also reading some of my short stories as well as, and sections from my audiobooks will be sprinkled throughout.

Season #1 authors include Dennis Palumbo from L.A.; Margaret Morse of Phoenix; Howard Gershkowitz of Chandler; Cheryl Cocroft of Carefree; Charlotte Whitney of Tempe; and Pat Spencer from S. California.

Of course, the podcasts will be free to you! But if you’d like to help out a fledgling podcast, we also have a Patreon page where you can get extra goodies for your support, at https://tinyurl.com/MurderInTheAirMysteryTheatre

The podcasts will also be available on the Read Laurie Fagen Murder in the Air YouTube channel @readlauriefagenmurderintheair. Please go there TODAY to subscribe and be notified of when new episodes will be uploaded so you don’t miss any. The episodes can also be found on my book website at http://www.readlauriefagen.com/murder-in-the-air-mystery-theatre on the “podcast” page.

Thanks for your support, and hope you enjoy “Murder in the Air Mystery Theatre!”
